Exercise is a proven and effective way to keep the body healthy and young looking. It makes the muscles strong, firm and resilient, which has a very good effect on skin health. Our face is also made up of muscles. And yes, we can work them out, too.
The few things that this facial exercise can contribute are the redefining of the cheekbones, jaw lines and the nose. The papery skin in the present around the neck and under the eyes is alleviated in the process. The lip then becomes fuller and the nose is more defined. All these can be achieved at a lesser cost.
Studies show that daily work and routine for at least 15 hours a day can stress the fifty-seven facial muscles. As these muscles are tense, blood circulation is also poor. The muscles then are deprived of required oxygen and nutrients. Exercise does the opposite, resulting to rejuvenation of the facial tissues. Exercise for at least five times a day in a daily basis can work wonders in improving the appearance of the skin.
There a many benefits that exercise can bring. It firms up one’s body and skin and increases energy level thus improves working condition. This also holds true to the muscles in the face. When one does the facial exercise, firming results would be faster since these are based on muscle resistance training.
To have the most satisfying results, few things are needed to be kept in mind while undergoing the facial exercise program. Too much scrubbing on the face can do damage. Downward scrubbing motion is advised while cleansing the face. Leaning the head on the hand is also strongly discouraged as well as using straw while drinking and squinting too often. These may thwart the chances of you having a wrinkle-free skin.
Facial exercise is a risk-free and cost efficient way to fight wrinkles. Good dietary habits, like drinking lots of water and eating nutritious foods, along with proper skin care can greatly help in achieving skin you’ve always wanted.
