Do Facial Exercises the Right Way

Do you wonder why the skin on the face is usually the first part of the body that forms wrinkles and fine lines? This is because the muscles and skin of the face is constantly moving in similar directions when we talk or express what we feel. With the constant folding of the skin in one direction, together with the decrease of the skin’s elasticity as we grow older, the face becomes easily prone to sagging and forming wrinkles.

There are many ways of how to get rid of these unwanted wrinkles on the face, but one of the safest and most effective ways to do this is by doing facial exercises. These exercises are made to increase the tone of the facial muscles so that it can exert a greater pull on the skin. Once this happens, the skin is stretched further thus reducing wrinkles and sagging skin, while also preventing the formation of new ones.

How does this exactly work you may ask. Similar to how bodybuilders and athletes have tight skin around their bodies, facial exercises uses the same concept. By increasing the muscle tone of your underlying muscles, it will pull harder on the skin, making it tighter thus eliminating the folding and sagging of the skin. When this happens, wrinkles are eliminated as well as sagging of the skin. this way, the body naturally gets rid of your wrinkles for you.

In addition to being very effective, it is also very safe as it will not require you to put any synthetic chemicals on your face or undergo possibly dangerous procedures. Chemicals may have long term effects on your body while exposing yourself to surgical procedures will always have some risks involved. You will also need to spend money with these other methods, as opposed to exercises which will not cost you any money at all.

These exercises will work effectively if done properly. This is by stretching the skin in ways that it does not normally move. This way, muscles are fully exercised while the skin is stretched in different ways to reduce the chances that the skin is folded.

Some ideas as to how to do these exercises is by pulling down on your eyelidswhile raising your eyebrows as high as you can. This helps eliminate wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes. Be sure to do enough repetitions of this exercise, as well as hold each pose for a few seconds to fully benefit from this.

As for the lips and cheek, you can try doing alternate movements of smiling as hard as you can, and making an O shape with your mouth. Hold each position for at least 10 seconds before going to the next position. Do this again for at least 10 repetitions. You can also try pulling down on your cheeks as hard as you can while smiling. These exercises will help stretch your muscles to their capacity and make them increase their tone with repeated exercising.

You can now start doing your own facial exercises routine at home. For better results, you can try varying the exercises that you do everyday by searching other ways on how to do these exercises. With continued dedication to these exercises, you will eventually have a younger looking face that you will be proud to show off to everyone.
